JT Barnhart currently serves as President of OSF HealthCare Heart of Mary Medical Center and leads the overall OSF HealthCare strategy. He is responsible for directing internal operations at OSF HealthCare Heart of Mary and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective and safe health care is consistently delivered.

Before joining OSF HealthCare in February 2023, Mr. Barnhart served as chief executive officer at Tennova Healthcare System in Cleveland, Tennessee. Prior to that, he was chief executive officer at Dallas Medical Center/Dallas Medical Physician Group. Mr. Barnhart earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and health care management from Appalachian State University. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.

Mr. Barnhart, his wife and two children reside in Champaign.
